Definitions of Persons Served

Families

1. Target Population – First Nation families – Single parents or couples with their children.
2. First Nation families of Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak territory  (priority).
3. Families with a history of substance abuse and other serious issues.
4. Clients will be admitted that meet the following profile:
   1. Substance issues
   2. Physical or sexual abuse
   3. Challenges in the home, the school, and the community
5. Contact with the criminal justice system.

Youth

1. Target population – First Nations Youth – Ages 12-17 years of age.
2. Male and Female – (alternate intakes)
3. First Nations youth of Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak territory (priority)
4. Youth have a history of substance abuse and other serious issues.
5. Clients will be admitted that meet the following profile:
• Substance issues
• Physical or sexual abuse
• Behavioral issues
• Challenges in the home, the school and the community
6. Contact with the criminal justice system
